Tibebu: Shepherd in the Wilderness

"Tibebu: Shepherd in the Wilderness" is written by Lishan Agonafer (Emnet’s mother), who shares their family’s story of faith, love, war, and duty. Lishan writes about her upbringing in Ethiopia, and meeting and marrying her husband Tibebu, before he was taken captive as a prisoner-of-war in their second year of marriage. Lishan also writes about their reunion, eleven years later, Tibebu’s years of work as a UN diplomat, and their family’s difficult journey of faith and love in the face of Tibebu's sudden illness.
